What is a ‘CV Review’?
We review your CV for you and provide detailed feedback on how to change your CV to help you stand out from the crowd. We review and advise on CVs for anyone linked to the legal profession including solicitors, barristers, legal executives, legal cashiers, licensed conveyancers, paralegals, overseas lawyers and law students. We have provided CV reviews to partners in large city law firms, solicitors applying for judicial appointments, legal executives changing jobs, paralegals looking for training contracts as well as many more. We have been providing the service for over 20 years.
What do you do with my CV?
We read it through as if we were recruiting for an actual job, providing you with an initial report of what we thought of it. After this, we read it through again, noting in more detail the information you have on the CV. Finally, we go through the details very carefully, considering how you could improve the content, layout, style and tone of the CV.
How long does it take?
We usually offer a return time of 5 working days and give you a confirmed time on receipt of your payment. If you are not satisfied with the estimated return time given, we guarantee a full refund. Your statutory rights are not affected by this.
How do I send you my CV?
By email. We will contact you on receipt of your payment, or you can email the CV through to email@example.com.
What do I get back?
- Your CV, endorsed with our comments.
- Advice on how to improve the CV.
- Careers advice based on the information on your CV.
How do I know you will advise correctly?
We have a vast amount of experience of advising on CVs for lawyers and law students, and although there is no such thing as the perfect CV, we offer the service to allow you to gain a head start when looking for work by improving the content, layout and style. We are specialists at advising on content, which is the most important part.
Can I see examples of your work?
